who we are
Our story, ...so far!
With over 30 years experience working for big brands, big advertising and design agencies, I found myself getting frustrated dealing with large corporations with multiple tiers of management so I saw an opportunity to use my experience and knowledge to help small to medium-sized businesses and start-ups find the spark that will help ignite their brands and tell their story in a more creative way that will increase customer engagement, build brand awareness and grow their businesses. And for us, it’s better because we now get to work directly with the key people and key decision-makers who know their business better than anyone, can make decisions and get things done quickly. This means communications are clearer and more exciting which leads to better ideas and better results too. And that’s a win-win for us both, because when you succeed as a result of what we do, then so do we.

About us
We’ve gone from working with big brands and big agencies to working with little businesses who want to be big brands but find it hard to compete with the big boys.
As a West Countryman originally, felt the pull of the home country and moved to North Devon, looking for fresh air, beautiful countryside, and a better way of life for me and my family in the beautiful Devon countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of city living, where for over 30 years I worked as a Creative Director for some big names in advertising, including Saatchi Group, McCann Erickson, Barkers, Ogilvy & Mather and Bray Leino to name but a few, on numerous big-name household brands.
I have been Creative Director of 6 agencies and worked across every media including, TV, radio, press, outdoor, direct marketing, design, branding, sales promotion, website and integrated digital campaigns, recruitment, and PR. …Phew, lol!
But what personally really gives me a buzz, is creating BIG ideas for passionate BIG thinking small businesses and watching them grow into big brands with the help of my own SouthWest-based, Ignite – Creative Brand Strategy Design Agency.
